How to Apply
All exchange students must be nominated by their home institutions in order to apply for admission to Hong Kong Baptist University. Complete applications must reach HKBU (International Office) by the following deadlines. No late applications will be entertained and incomplete applications will not be considered.
1st (Fall) Semester : 5 May
2nd (Spring) Semester : 15 October
You are welcome to submit the application online (preferred) or in paper form. Please read carefully the Application Checklist before completing the Application.

Online Application
Nominated students will be provided a login name and password to complete the online application. After completing the application online, print the application for your home institution’s endorsement, then mail it with your visa application plus required documents to HKBU (International Office) VIA your home institution.

Official academic transcript from your home institution |
| 2. | Two copies of your travel document containing your personal particulars, its issuance and expiry dates. (For students from Mainland China, Macau and Taiwan, please also attach copies of your identity documents, e.g. identity cards, census papers, etc.) |
| 3. | Evidence of financial standing, e.g. bank statements,
savings account passbooks, scholarship letters, etc. The Hong Kong Immigration Department requires that a student must have written proof that he/she has sufficient funds to pay all expenses while studying in Hong Kong. If the student will be financially supported by someone else, e.g. parent, the student should include a letter from that individual sponsor identifying his/her relationship with the student and stating that fees and living expenses will be provided to the student while he/she studies at HKBU. The individual sponsor's financial statement from the bank must be included. |
| 4. | Three recent passport-size photographs (one for the enrollment
application; one for the student visa application; one for the International
Office) - Not larger than 55 mm x 45 mm and not smaller than 50 mm x 40 mm; - All of the same pose; - Computer prints of photos are not acceptable |

Submission
You are required to submit (i) the completed HKBU "Application for Enrollment - Study Abroad/Exchange Students", (ii) the Visa Application, and (iii) required documents VIA your home institution to HKBU at the following address:

All application materials should reach HKBU (International Office) by the following dates, so that there should be sufficient time for the admission process and processing of immigration visa.
