Budget Guide

If you are nominated through Student Exchange Programme, you will continue to pay the tuition fees to HKBU, and will not pay tuition fees to study with your host institution.  However, you will be responsible for living costs, incidental expenses, and other fees including visas, insurance, travelling expenses.

If you budget carefully, studying abroad can be an amazing experience for you!  The following monthly budget planning tables help you plan and estimate how much you will need for studying abroad.  For current and up-to-date costs, please check your host institution's website.
