It should not be in my kitchen, but I end up loving it!
As an international student in Hong Kong who has been here for one year, I would say that the unique cultural immersion is the usage of soy sauce in here.
When I was in my home country: Myanmar, I do not normally use the soy sauce because I generally use salt or chicken powder. However, here in Hong Kong, the soy sauce is just everywhere. At first, I was not used to eating soy sauce that much but I quickly found it inescapable and irresistible. After living here for 6 months, soy sauce has become a part of my Hong Kong life. The soy sauce immersion is great for me.
