A second chance: Do full justice to the recycling goods!

Last year, I went exchange abroad at Tilburg University in the Netherlands with three other BU students. One of the accomplishments that we had there was launching a sustainable project with Vodde, an award-winning sustainable company in the Netherlands.

With the support of the host institution and the student society, we successfully organized a sustainability campaign. Similar to the recycling campaign we saw in Hong Kong, we set up collection points on campus for collecting old clothes. The clothes were then sent to Vodde for producing recycled socks. We were thrilled that we also could participate in sock design! The final products will be donated to charity organizations.
