In Kazakhstan, a land where numerous tulip species have their origins, the arrival of spring brings forth various manifestations. However, the blooming of tulips is undoubtedly one of the most eagerly anticipated and cherished.

To the Kazakh people, the fleeting yet vibrant period of tulip bloom serves as a poignant reminder of the transient nature of life. These flowers hold a special place in their hearts as they herald the arrival of spring festivities and the promise of warmer days. From late March, when the grip of winter still lingers, to late June, the steppes of Kazakhstan are adorned with the blossoming tulips. In the southern regions of the country, this enchanting bloom is celebrated through annual tulip festivals.
