A festival like no other
“Hoşgeldiniz! (Welcome) Grand Bazaar Istanbul” is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage of the famed Mesir Macunu Festival, where you can revel in the festive spirit of Turkish folk dance while discovering all its traditional rituals. Dedicated to celebrating an herbal paste candy said to have therapeutic properties, the festival is celebrated as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
Shop, Drink, Eat and Create a la Turk
The adventure will also bring you the special experience of the art of brewing Turkish coffee - a process also listed in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. You'll also get to sample some authentic Turkish flavours of simit (a traditional ring - shaped bread) and other Turkish delight and all sorts of local delicacies. Budding artists can paint their own Ebru masterpiece or make other handicrafts while dedicated shoppers can stroll the shopping lanes of this buzzing Bazaar.
