Nomination by home institution

All exchange students must be nominated by their home institutions to apply for admission to Hong Kong Baptist University. Nominations are due by 27 March 2026 (Friday).

Invitation for application

Once nominated by your home institution, you will receive application details by email from HKBU. You are required to complete the online application form by 10 April 2026 (Friday).

Document submission

Submit the following documents via this link here. 

• Transcript 
• Passport Copy
• Proof of English Proficiency*
• All required documents for Visa application 

*If your native language is NOT English, please submit a TOEFL or IELTS result slip. Alternatively, a verification letter from your home institution certifying your proficieny in English will suffice. 

Payment

Upon admission, you will receive a confirmation email with payment instructions. Please complete the payment by 15 May 2026 (Friday).
